Thoughts
In the relationship between the restless, diverse thoughts, represented by the rising poppies, and the deeper, calm essence of the soul, represented by the blue sun in the starry sky, this image is intended to convey the idea that despite the constant stream of our thoughts, a deeper core of calm and being exists.
Sacrificial love
The symbol of the pelican, known since the 12th century, nourishes its young with its blood—a profound expression of sacrifice and divine love, as can also be found in historical depictions (see examples). This profound depiction has greatly inspired me as a family man and shapes my artistic exploration of this theme.
